CloverPlus Smooth Rod Brace
thingiverse
Brace for the Z-Axis smooth rods of [my CloverPlus](https://www.thingiverse.com/make:208007) (a make based on [the original V2](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1374313)) printer, though they should work for anything that needs two rods joined together. This helps reduce chassis flex and sway when then effector makes large, fast moves. It can also give a hardpoint to attach things to the towers. To assemble each you will need: * Print both pieces (screw side and nut side) * 9 M4 nuts * 9 M4 flat or button-cap screws (about 10mm long). Do not use countersink (V-shaped head) screws, they will just split the plastic Place the M4 nuts in each slot on the "nut side", then place both pieces on your Z-tower ( **below** your carriages, of course) and tighten those babies down until nothing moves. You're done! Place them **below** your carriages, of course.
