I am working on a project that involves a similar mount found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:754464 - It's ideal for 1.2G equipment but is far too large for 2.4G antennas. At least, I was unable to achieve a VSWR below 1.6 with this mount on 2.4G due to the fixed middle point height, which requires bending wires, and its excessive size and dielectric influence on the wires, as well as air resistance. So, I designed an alternative - it's much weaker mechanically but significantly smaller and lighter. Additionally, less plastic is used, resulting in less influence, and the feedpoint height can be adjusted. This antenna performs almost perfectly from the first try. This design accommodates 1.2/2.4G antennas, though it might be slightly too large for 5.8G equipment
