ABOUT THIS 3D FIGURINEClover, also known as Cloverfield monster is a giant quadruped creature that came from the Atlantic Ocean to wreck New York City within the Cloverfield horror universe. As it was later revealed in the tie-in manga Cloverfield/Kishin, the monster had spent thousands and thousands of years under the water, consuming large amounts of Seabed's Nectar. Apart from being an unearthly powerful living being, Clover's thick, impenetrable and heat-resistant skin also hosts thousands of parasite creatures. With the movie being of the found footage subgenre, it is easier than ever to be engrossed in the nerve-racking plot of the monster film. What is more, the spine-chilling first-person POV scenes or the severed head of the Statue of Liberty lying in the street make the 80-meter tall Clover seem too real. It has taken the author of the 3D printing underwater life form 150 hours to create one more impressive and scary kaiju figurine to expand your extraterrestrial creatures collection. The Cloverfield monster is depicted with its piranha-like head and extremely long limbs as if menacingly towering over any obstacle it encounters. ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTINGCloverfield Monster is a static assembly figurine and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 40 hours in total. The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the figurine’s Eco version. In order to receive the cleanest result possible the monster’s long double-jointed limbs, as well as the tri-fork finned tail, were divided along the joints that are now provided as separate parts. The model’s platform was also cut into 9 assembly pieces to fit even the smallest print beds. All assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out so to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown. The model's scale was calculated from Cloverfield Monster's actual height that is 80000 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1/250 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/500 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.VERSIONS' SPECIFICATIONSFFF/FDM 1.0 version features:- Contains 32 parts;- A printed model is 359 mm tall, 512 mm wide, 517 mm deep;- Assembly kit includes lock 32_ge_lock_10H(x66) that needs to be printed 66 times to connect parts securely without glue;- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.DLP/SLA 1.0 version features:- Contains 12 parts;- A printed model is 180 mm tall, 156 mm wide, 259 mm deep;- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version features:- Contains 12 parts;- A printed model is 180 mm tall, 156 mm wide, 259 mm deep;- Contains some hollowed out parts to save resin.SLS 1.0 version features:- Made as solid one-piece figurine;- A printed model is 180 mm tall, 156 mm wide, 259 mm deep;- Contains 3 parts - a one-piece model and the figurine with the platform separated.WHAT WILL YOU GET AFTER PURCHASE?- STL files of Cloverfield Monster 3D printing figurine which consist of 59 parts;- 4 versions of files for this model for FFF/FDM, DLP/SLA, DLP/SLA Eco and SLS;- High-poly detailed figurine of Cloverfield Monster;- Detailed settings that we provide as a recommendation for Cura , Simplify3D and Slic3r for the best print;- Full technical support from the Gambody Support Team. You can get Cloverfield Monster 3D printing figurine immediately after the purchase!
