I designed a unique light fixture for my daughter's room, shaped like two interconnected clouds. I then installed a standard RGB LED Strip inside and covered it with transparent paper, which also worked well with a printed cover. This was my first DIY electrical project, but my daughter loves the color-changing effect in her new cloudy lights.
