I crafted this storage solution specifically for clothing hangers when not in use. To secure it firmly, mount two screws directly to a stud. While I anticipate some strain from the weight of several loads of laundry, I'm confident that this design will hold its own with standard-sized hangers. Printed in white PLA at 20% infill, the shaft remained solid throughout. However, where the mounting plate meets the shaft, it proved surprisingly brittle and snapped easily under pressure. In contrast, ABS boasts superior solidity but exhibited noticeable shrinking and cracking near the juncture of the shaft and the mount's slope. On June 12, I enlarged the mounting piece to provide added support and added a ring at its base for extra stability. A series of refinements followed: on July 24, I increased the size of the mounting screw holes and base; on July 25, I relocated the holes to facilitate easier installation with tools; and on July 26, I rounded the top and refined the base for improved aesthetics and functionality.
