Clothespin Replacement Arm
prusaprinters
I designed this particular clothespin as a replacement for one of ours that had worn out (the wooden part is exactly 73mm long, for reference). I was able to match the profile pretty much exactly and I was quite pleased about that. It's a very simple model, but I was happy with the result and thought it was a good example of the kind of little mechanical pieces which 3D printing is great at replacing. As an added bonus, you can also customize your clothespins now.I printed mine in PETG, but any stiff filament should do the trick. I also increased perimeters to make the part entirely solid for maximum strength/stiffness.Fusion 360 and STEP files included.
