Clothespin for octopus
thingiverse
I've been using this Octopus clothespin for years to dry my socks, but now I need it more than ever since I had a baby and all the extra laundry that comes with it has taken its toll on the original clothespins. It would be a waste of plastic if I threw them away. I simply redesigned the clothespin so it doesn't take more than 40 minutes to print, using 20% in-fill and 0.2mm thickness which is sufficient. A print test was done with PLA, and it works well, but maybe this should be printed in ABS for added durability against humidity. Holes have been enlarged from 1.6 to 1.9mm to make it easier for the spring to pass through.
