For amusement, inspired by a Pinterest image (https://br.pinterest.com/pin/373587731572984547/), a rocking chair was crafted from 28 components (14 clothespins). There are numerous variations online. The design was developed in Solidworks 2016, then rendered using Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition. Gifs were created with PhotoScape, while renders were edited with IrfanView. Animated 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files are available for viewing. The ZIM file can be viewed on IOS and Android devices via the free Simlab Viewer app. The model is also accessible in Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM formats.
