I crafted this clothes rail mount as my inaugural "practical" project, one that would serve a real purpose in my home. It securely holds a standard rail boasting a 16mm diameter and walls just 1mm thick. I sourced mine at a local hardware store and trimmed it to size using an angle grinder. This mount has been carefully engineered to fit snugly without any excess space or tolerances. The rail can be easily pushed into place with minimal force, or if needed, a gentle tap from a hammer will guide it smoothly in.
