Basic remake of the classic Clothes Peg Came about when I needed something to replace all those loose & broken plastic pegs, but still had all the good springs lying around doing nothing, so whipped this up ... Made Two versions - one for smaller springs and a second for larger springs. Cheers, Bantum Print Settings Printer Brand: Up! Printer: Up Plus Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Fine Infill: Solid Notes: Found best method is to locate with flat side face down - no support needed. Post-Printing Components Two sides Spring Assembly Slide spring over one side or peg, ensuring that it locates in grooves. Then with a slight twisting motion, engage the other side. How I Designed This Remade from various bits in SketchUp & checked in Nettfab Notes Make sure to print both sides with same orientation - otherwise may not engage correctly ... Do let me know if you find any errors / omissions ... Edits Found one error - when printing in PLA, the Spring holes / channels may be undersized - may need to make them bigger ... Printed fine in ABS + most springs fit without mods ( will add some pictures later ) On checking the sizes of springs on hand, have found they are inconsistent with various dimensions - so will make a version that has a slightly larger tolerance to make allowance for different size springs ... Added a refined second version for larger springs ...
