This is hardware for a simple clothes drying hanger rack that my wife requested I install for her. It's designed specifically to hold 5/8 inch dowel rods securely in place. In my installation, the hardware is attached directly to a wooden beam between two sturdy posts, providing ample support. The dowel rods run along the length of the beam, about 1 3/4 inches below it, allowing plenty of clearance for slipping clothes hangers over onto the rod.\r\n\r\nThe set includes three essential components: an end piece with multiple screw options for versatility, a supporting component to provide stability, and a joiner that allows two dowel rods to be connected end-to-end.
