My wife bought a large quantity of hangers with a notch in the upper edge for straps. I hate them. The notch catches on my T-shirts. Rather than toss them and go shopping for others, I decided to just fill the notch and it worked very well. The filler just snaps in place. No guarantee it will fit your hangers, but it only takes ten minutes to make one and find out.
