Clothes Hamper Kit

I constructed these brackets to fortify a clothes hamper my spouse acquired at a yard sale, which was crumbling due to poor design and neglect. It's now rock-solid. These can also be used to create a hamper frame from scratch. This project requires 7/8"x1/2" boards for the cross beams, and 5/8" dowels for the spanners. You'll need two bolts of your choice for the pivots. I employed standard finishing nails and pressed them into the holes provided using pliers. It's advisable to countersink the dowels into the cross members to prevent the braces from sliding. It's recommended to print these horizontally so that the layers wrap around the square portion, as this is where the most stress occurs. I've encountered three of these snap on layer separations because I printed them with the tube pointing up and my kids are extremely rough on the furniture.
