Cloth Mask Support
thingiverse
This is a simple solution for the common cloth masks being widely used lately. I had an issue with some of these masks where they kept slipping into my mouth while I spoke, which in turn would pull them off my nose. To quickly resolve this problem, I decided to utilize my new 3D printer to create something easy and effective. To place a stabilizer, start by positioning the two ends firmly wedged behind the elastic band. Next, pull the outer edge into the small hook located at the center of the stabilizer (try to gather the fabric tightly so it holds securely). Repeat this process on the other side with another stabilizer. This is an uncomplicated fix that works quite well. I made an effort to get the measurements to fit best with a few masks of this style, but if the fit isn't perfect, please feel free to leave notes if you try it. I will be revising this design to further enhance support and maintain a tighter seal.
