Cloth Face Mask with filter pocket and 3D Printed Nose Bridge

This cloth mask is based on the Olson design and utilizes a pattern published by Clayton Skousen and Rose Hedges of UnityPoint Health in Des Moines, Iowa. The pattern requires sewing to complete. As the Covid-19 pandemic spreads, many governments recommend wearing face masks for added protection. Although this mask is not as effective as a certified N95 mask, it can still provide some help in fighting the virus. Modifications have been made to improve sealing around the nose area with a 3D printed nose bridge and a pattern for cutting and installing a filter membrane (Vacuum Cleaner Bag, Coffee Filter, Merv 13 Furnace Filter, etc). Files included are instructions, templates for cutting out fabric pieces (paper or 3D printable), a template for cutting the filter shape, and nine different sized nose bridges for 3D printing. The instructions are located in the images. To assemble the mask, cut the fabric, sew the mask, choose the right size nose bridge, and install it if desired, then install the filter if desired. There are two numbers for each of the nine sizes in the files. The first number represents the width at the base of your nose where it meets your cheek just below the bottom of your eye socket: 2H=32mm, 3H=36mm, and 4H=40mm. The second number is the curvature of your cheek or how far from the bridge edge back toward your ear the bridge curves: 14=14mm (relatively flat faces), 16=16mm, and 18=18mm (very curved faces). Measuring the nose bridge width with a wire or ruler is relatively easy, but measuring the curvature can be difficult. Note: Feedback has been received that soaking PETG nose bridges in very hot water softens them enough to shape to your nose for a tighter fit.
