To reuse a plastic bottle, cut it near the plug following your wife's suggestion. Design the idea using Openscad and print the object. Insert fruits or vegetables into a plastic bag, seal it, fold the collar if needed, replace the cap, and store in the refrigerator. For best results, use ABS to print with, and ensure you scale the cap at 1.02 when printing.
