Closure for cloth straps or cords

I was crafting masks and had envisioned sewing the elastic straps together, but that proved more challenging than my patience could handle. So, I conceptualized these snap-on devices to fit over a couple of pieces of 1/4" elastic strap instead. It works incredibly well, allowing me to easily pry them apart and reuse them repeatedly. One could also rotate this design sideways and secure a larger size of strap, though I would need to revise the center teeth for that purpose.
