Closing Cap for Micke Desk (Ikea)

We set out to solve a problem with the IKEA Micke desk - its cable management system was lacking, allowing cables and small items to slip through a hole and fall into the cavity behind the drawer. My daughter grew increasingly frustrated with this issue. We decided to create a solution together. I designed a cap that would close off the hole, preventing items from disappearing into the void. She insisted that the cap also needed to be able to store small items, like her beloved erasers.
