Closet Spool Hangar Redux
thingiverse
This is a slight modification of the awesome closet spool holder made by mikepf. I've made a number of small modifications to get more of these to fit into my closet and to improve their rigidity. My library of spools is also primarily of the Inland brand ilk from MicroCenter, and I've tailored these holders for those specifically, so YMMV. First off, the overall width of each hangar has been reduced from 100 to 87mm, this will typically allow for one or two more rolls per run depending on the length of your pole. I also added a bit of support filler about halfway down the concave bottom of the hangar. I found that heavy rolls would slowly torque and warp the bottom part of the hangar without any additional support. While this wasn't a fatal flaw, it made them look a bit wonky. I also added a little bit of height to the holder, providing a bit more room for rolls in the shortened holder. Lastly, I shaved a little bit off the outer edges of the bottom part of the hangar for a little smoother fit. Enjoy!
