Closet Rod Holder
thingiverse
I didn't care for the rod holders I discovered, so (as often occurs) I made my own. The STL here is intended for a 1.5 inch rod. My apologies; I failed to switch to mm before exporting the STL. This was designed to be completely parametric in Fusion 360, and included the f3d file for adjustment of the rod size. Just open the file, click Modify->Change Parameters in the toolbar. In the window that opens you can change the User Parameter "rod_diameter" to any diameter desired. It should work down to a 1 inch, or so, rod. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: Not Required Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 50% Notes: Printed with PETg. Even at 50% infill this item feels exceptionally robust. I haven't tested its weight-bearing capacity, but I suspect drywall will give up before this piece if printed like mine was. Post-Printing The holes are designed to accommodate drywall screws. I recommend using plastic drywall anchors if there's no stud behind any given hole.
