Closet Pole Extension
thingiverse
I purchased a readymade extensible modular cedar closet from COSTCO, but unfortunately, its rod was too short for my closet wall. This meant it wouldn't function properly in its current state. To rectify the situation, I measured the deficiency (which turned out to be 38 mm) and came up with a simple yet effective extension piece for the closet-rod that would be strong enough to bear the load and make it usable. Feel free to take a look at the attached FreeCAD files and customize the profile sketch within them to suit your specific closet wall lengths. A recommended maximum length of 50 mm is suggested. This project was printed with PLA at 200 degrees Celsius and an infill of 22%.
