Clone Diamond Hotend sock mold
thingiverse
This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2386473 My hotend clone was larger, so I created a version better suited to mine. I used this to make a silicone sock for my clone diamond hotend. I used Permatex Blue RTV for the silicone. To prepare the silicone, you place it in warm, soapy water. The dish soap catalyzes the silicone and initiates the curing process. Then I coated the mold with dish soap, added the ball of silicone, and inserted the male part to shape the ball, trimmed excess silicone, and let it cure for a few hours. To prepare the silicone and mold: http://www.instructables.com/id/Worlds-easiest-silicone-mold/ I included the Fusion 360 files in case someone needs to modify them.
