I wanted to discover the outcome of repeatedly duplicating a 3D replica, copying that duplicate, and continuing this process indefinitely, so I went ahead and did just that. All scans were conducted using an identical procedure with 123D Catch. The transformation from third-generation to fourth-generation copies was almost imperceptible, leading me to decide on halting the duplication process at that point.
