Clockwise Mechanism

Clockwise Mechanism

myminifactory

This is a mechanism that consistently produces a clockwise output, regardless of the direction in which you turn the handle. At first glance, it appears magical, but the combination of various gears makes the magic entirely logical. Print it out and let others try to figure out how it works. Check out a video of it in action on my Instagram account - "ChrisibubPrints"!https://www.instagram.com/p/BmQPM23A2A1/ Take a look at the attached photos to see how you should assemble the parts. Install the large blue gears onto the orange axis. Position the thin, blue components onto the axis. Attach the red gears to the axis and secure them with glue. The blue pieces should not be glued to the axis; only the red ones should be fastened. Insert the yellow clip into the blue components. Mount the gear-side parts onto the axis but do not attach them with glue. Position the green gear on the bottom plate and secure it using a pin. Make sure the pin is attached to the gear, not the bottom part. Combine the top and bottom parts by gluing the gray pieces together at the base. Secure the orange arrow to the green gear. Install the rotating handle on the axis and bond them together securely.
