I've added a second option for printing this pendulum bob without the center column. The column can be replaced with a 3/16 x .014 wall tube after printing, and I epoxied it from the bottom, leaving the top dry and flush with the top of the printed part. I also modified the rear port so filling of the bob with lead shot is easier now. The low spot is the hole, which acts like a funnel and should make loading simpler. This pendulum is patterned after a generic image I saw on the Internet while researching clocks to build. It's designed for use with a 1/8-inch rod fit through its center, and it can also be weighted with lead shot since it's hollow. The through shaft hole is sealed, so you can remove the shaft from the clock without worrying about lead loss. A single internal strut exists to stabilize the long tube the 1/8-inch rod slides through during printing. I didn't need this, but it should add some strength until the upper end is attached during the print operation. The pendulum shaft nut at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3157190 was designed to work with this part.
