Clock-Frame, by Slicing Negative Space

Clock-Frame, by Slicing Negative Space

thingiverse

To create a 3mm-thick slice with a 0.5mm gap, carve out pieces from a cylinder, using the negative space model made with version 4 of the clockwork library's new feature. The negative space is imported as an STL file. Preview the design in OpenCSG mode with #debug modifier (see example image). Use F5 for a quick render, and F6 to export the STL file. Note that for proper functioning, the negative space must include metal shafts and string-running space; you can modify the clock script accordingly if needed.
