Clock Face "Roman Numerals" cnc/laser
thingiverse
This is my second design of a clock face I'm sharing on Thingiverse. The standout features are full roman numerals crafted from smoked oak that link an inner ring to a concentric outer ring, both cut from birch plywood. I discovered it fascinating that the serifs function as butterfly joints. The drawing was created using Illustrator. Fusion360 helped to validate the design by rendering a representation before expending valuable material. Nevertheless, I did a smaller version from plain birch (with stained numbers) The build was completed on a desktop CNC machine courtesy of [Stepcraft](https://www.zenziwerken.de/my-cnc).
