Clock/elapsed time teacher
thingiverse
This clock face design tackles a common issue when teaching children "telling time": the circular clock face and linear time concept. It features 12 identical 5-minute segments, hinged at the corners, along with assembling hubs, pointers, and hands. The foamcore face is optional, but instructions guide users to assemble it for teaching purposes. Designed for younger learners, this clock enables traditional "long hand, short hand" time demonstrations and elapsed time calculations by unhooking a pin and visualizing minutes in a line. Hourhubs can be inserted from the front or back with options to write numbers or leave them blank depending on children's understanding. For digital time, labeled hour hubs and additional plates are used for minutes after the colon.
