I'd like to give a huge shoutout to John1205 for sharing this incredible model with us all. Before I printed the original design, I was itching to know just how stable it would turn out to be. So, I decided to create a super simple base that's commonly used in woodworking decor projects - and also added some detail to the back of the eagle. When I picked up my Hatchbox PLA-WOOD filament, I was blown away by how amazing it turned out. The quality of the scan is absolutely insane, and being able to stain the model was a total must-do for me.
