This rock was Rock no.2 of Richard Bradley's excavations at Cloanlawers from 2007-2010, uncovered again last week by the ScRAP team for possibly only the second time. The markings are on a large schist outcrop, situated at the 400-meter contour on a southeast-facing slope overlooking Loch Tay. The outcrop is shaped like a large sofa, with intricate carvings on its inside 'right arm' and adjacent basin below its left-hand side and front of the 'seat'. These carvings consist of numerous cup and multiple ring markings - some with circular rings, others with interconnected rings. Visible on the model are two striking cup marks surrounded by a figure-of-eight created by their rings. Another cup and multiple ring mark with a radial is prominent, and the more you look, the more you see. Grid Ref: NN 69073 42737, Scotland's Rock Art Project (ScRAP) ID: 2631, Canmore: 238569
