Cloak Clasp
thingiverse
I needed a cloak for a medieval fair and just couldn't find a good clasp for it so I made one! This is designed to hold together the front of a cloak, personally I used the pattern from here (https://www.fleecefun.com/long-hooded-cloak-pattern-free/) but you could use it for anything! Obviously loosely based on a celtic knotwork type pattern but certainly not historically accurate. It comes out rather large, personally I think it made the cloak pop with the contrasting colour but feel free to scale it down to suit your design. The locking mechanism won't hook or unhook while the pieces are flat, they need to be pulled together at an angle to disengage. I didn't ever have it come apart and I did a lot of running around! I am really quite proud of that actually!
