These clips should snap right into place within the x-profiles and be able to slide back slightly. The LED-strip clip was a quick solution on demand, but I haven't yet had time to test its tolerances. The original parts were thoroughly tested and printed using a 0.2 mm layer height, with every aspect designed to print without supports. Edit: I have since tightened up the original clip design and added an experimental clip that allows for easy attachment of the simple Pi Bumper, available on Thingiverse here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3401335. It's recommended to use two clips at once, rather than one as shown in the demo picture.
