This text presents a solution for cycling shoes that have thick soles, making it difficult to use with certain cleats. A simple spacer is provided to place under the cleat, allowing for easier clipping in and out. The author uses 0.9mm-thick shims with Crank Bros. cleats and Keen Commuter sandals; however, this may also work with other two-bolt walkable cleats.
