Clip-together phone stand, fast printing, portable
thingiverse
I needed a basic phone stand/cradle, I experimented with the one by mjengland but it took some time to print and was bulky. I merely eliminated the upright "peg" and designed a clip-in foot layout for it. Now you can print both components flat on the print-bed (quicker), it's also more portable because the parts are flat. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 20 Notes: Print it at whatever resolution you prefer, I used a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer height at 45mm/s print speed. No support needed, no raft required. Simplify3D for slicing (sequential printing; object-by-object). Post-Printing No additional clean-up should be necessary, simply clip the two components together, the first use might require a bit of effort.
