Clip-on Vent Shelf

Okay, my wife thinks this is pretty silly, but I know I'll use these myself, so maybe others can benefit from them too. I've got a long commute and normally munch on a granola bar for a snack while driving to and from work. The problem is, it gets scorching hot in the summer, especially inside my car. Those granola bars get all melty and unpalatable after a tough day at work. I usually try to balance a granola bar on the vent and drive like an old granny, but I figured there must be a better way! That's when I came up with the vent shelf. I used the clip from jgreene777's insulin pen vent clip (what a fantastic idea!) and designed the rest of the little shelf to fit my BMW 535xi. It should work on any vent that's wide enough. I hope someone else finds it useful as well!
