Clip-on SpaceOne FPV 220x arm guards
thingiverse
Arm guards for SpaceOne FPV 220x. They're not exactly motor guards since they barely offer protection to the motors.\nThe clips snap onto the arms with ease, allowing you to secure them using zip ties - although it's often unnecessary.\nThis design features integrated support, a crucial aspect I found missing from my splicer-generated supports. To remove the support, simply pry it loose with a tiny flat screwdriver and pull it away.\nUpdate 07/01/2017: an updated version without supports is now available.\nThe print settings are critical to get right:\nLayer height should be set at either 0.1 or 0.2 mm due to the guard's dimensions.\nInfill percentage is 100% - it's a guard, after all.\n Walls should be set to 1 for optimal results; using two walls can lead to partially empty prints on certain slicers.\nFloor and roof thickness should both be set to 0 to prevent weak spots from forming in the print.
