Clip on Solidoodle anti-backlash well nut holder
thingiverse
Newly released, this version remains untested but should work if you lack screws. It's a holder for a well nut to prevent banding on Solidoodles with an aluminum bed. No screws required, though holes are still present just in case. To install, insert the 5/16-in x 3/4-in Rubber Standard (SAE) Well Nut (available at Lowes: http://www.lowes.com/pd_137185-37672-880512_0__?productId=3012496). Then, slide the z-threaded rod downwards. Next, insert the two large brace rods into the holes - they'll fit snugly! After that, place the thinner braces atop the larger ones. These might need sanding for a smooth fit. Finally, insert paper or any sliced material between the sheets to apply pressure and hold the well nut in position. For optimal results, maintain adequate pressure on the well nut.
