This filament guide uses a 608 Bearing (22mm OD x 8mm ID x 7mm Deep) to allow the filament guide head to spin freely. Like most things I design - it is over-engineered. I just needed a simple guide to prevent tangling and 20 versions later - I had this. I wasn't initially planning on sharing it because there are many excellent filament guides on Printables already. However, it was so fun to assemble with the bearing, and it works so well that I had to share it!

I am not great at printing PETG and my mechanical parts (Nuts/Bolts) never fit together well with PETG, so I designed this clip to be made with PLA. Once printed, slide the bearing in the side and push in until it stops; It should be a snug fit. Feed the screw through the bearing and thread on the head. There is a tiny slot in the screw to tighten (lightly).

Please Share your makes! I love seeing the materials people use and their clever applications!

**PLEASE NOTE: This design requires a 608 bearing for assembly! There are people on printables.com that have 3D printable ones, but I have not tested them. This was designed using a store-bought skateboard bearing.
