Clip on Face Shield
thingiverse
Show your disdain for airborne illnesses by wearing this easy-to-make, practically free face shield that clips onto a baseball-style cap. The shield part is cut from a 2-liter soda bottle - I used a root beer bottle! Cut the plastic to 270mm x 150mm and slide it into the top of the frame. The clip that attaches to the hat has internal supports built in, making it sturdy enough to grip the brim securely. Disclaimer: Don't say I didn't warn you - I'm not a medical expert, and using this shield hasn't been proven to keep germs at bay. That's why I've labeled it as a fashion accessory. If you do decide to wear it outside where you might encounter others, be sure to follow the WHO and CDC guidelines during the Covid-19 outbreak.
