Clip on Dry Erase Marker Holder

Clip on Dry Erase Marker Holder

This dry erase marker holder was crafted to attach securely to my glass boards mounted on the wall. The glass is precisely .150" thick, and the clip exerts an ample amount of force to hold four markers firmly in place. To achieve optimal results, design the part vertically. Place markers upside-down within the holder to prevent their tips from drying out. If you have two spools of identical material or are indifferent about using two colors, I suggest dividing the clip portion into a separate component and merging it with the marker tray in Cura. This will enable you to use solid infill for the clip and low-density infill for the rest of the part. The printing process will be significantly accelerated, and the mechanical integrity will remain unchanged.
