Clip-on Blinders for Glasses

I Wanted To Try Making Some Blindness Preventers To Attach To My Eyeglasses. I Have A Bright Window Next To Me When I'm Working, But It's Great To Block The Light Coming Into My Peripheral Vision While Focusing On My Monitor. Getting The Right Size For The Clip Was Tricky, So I Put In An Option To Print Only That Section Of The Blindness Preventer. This Way You Can Quickly Print A Couple Sizes To Find The Perfect Fit. ## Printing My Design I Found Out That Printing Them Standing Up Worked Well. My Printer Doesn't Print Well Without A Base, So This Way I Was Able To Have A Small Base. It's Also Easier To Remove Supports That Are Between The Clip And The Base Than Between The Clip And The Shield. ## Customizing My Blindness Preventers I Made Most Of The Measurements For The Design, Including The Size Of The Shield And Dimensions For The Clip Parameters. This Should Make It Easier To Fit Them To Your Eyeglasses. I Designed The Blindness Preventers In OpenSCAD And The SCAD File Is Available Here As Well As On GitHub. Using The Customizer On Thingiverse Will Allow You To Change All Of The Variables Except The Shield Dimensions. You Can Do That By Downloading And Editing The SCAD File. ## Repository Https://github.com/jeffhiltz/blinders
