This clip is tailored for an exclusive acoustic instrument pickup: the Oyster. The Oyster ships with a special putty designed to secure the pickup, but it has been known to harden over time and detach from its perch. This custom-fit design ensures that it stays securely in place. Using the 3D modeling software accessible through http://AutodeskFormIt.com on iPad, Android Tablets, and web browsers, I created this unique component. For Assembly and Setup: Print the attachment using a Replicator2 with PLA, set to a 0.2mm layer height, at around 30% infill. Optional is the inclusion of a thin piece of foam within the base to serve as a cushion between the pickup and guitar.
