Clip grip pads
thingiverse
Clips can be tricky to handle due to their slipperiness; thus, replacing the small platform clips (15mm wide) provided with the Afinia machine with larger ones like "Binder Clips" (19mm) might be a better option. These clips can be purchased for approximately $2 for a dozen and may reduce slipping incidents. The attached files cater to these two sizes, and it is possible to scale them for other clip dimensions. Printing settings include 0.20mm Z-resolution, "Fine" quality, with a raft, and printed right-side up. Small, thick prints often benefit from fan cooling, so it's recommended in this case. To assemble, remove the spring-wire from the clip by squeezing its sides together, insert the grip pad correctly, and reattach the wire to the clip using the provided instructions.
