Clip for Sony Smartwatch (1)
thingiverse
A couple of months back, I accidentally snapped off the clip at the back of my trusty Sony Smartwatch. Ever since then, it's been lying idle most of the time. With my newfound possession of a 3D printer, I thought this was just the perfect opportunity to try and craft a replacement clip from scratch. Guess what? It turned out even better than I had expected. Below are some simple instructions on how you can do the same. To start with, you will need to create the model of the entire clip using online designing tools like Tinkercad. Next up, you will have to make use of software programs such as Repetier and Cura Engine set to a slice height of 0.100 in order to get the necessary printing code for your machine. Check out the image above - this is exactly what I ended up with using semi-transparent black PLA plastic on my Welleman K8400 Vertex 3D printer, all thanks to my fantastic printer and my own handwork!
