The benefit of this thing is that you can change your sheath respectively your knife without taking it from your belt. The original is very good, but I wanted one fitting different thick leather loops better. Furthermore I found it difficult to clip on or remove the clip to a belt. So I altered two things. First removed the little lip at the back bottom of the clip. Now it´s easy to fasten and to remove from a belt but it´s furthermore very strong so one can not lose the clip randomly. Second I altered the wedge. It fits loops from 2 - 4mm now by flipping it. May be you have to smooth the edges of the wedge due to the supports. I had to do so.
