A quick DIY solution I came up with, this clip/holder keeps my measuring board securely in place on the side of my kayak crate. I was using mini bungees before, but they required two hands and kept coming loose. A well-known design exists for the popular "Hawg Trough", but as a thrifty person, I opted for the Frabill "Bump Board" that performs the same function at half the cost. I attached it to the crate using a few stainless screws from the back through the top edge.
