This tiny plastic component had given out as soon as I picked up my 2002 Chevrolet 1500HD truck from the previous owner. Instead of wasting money at my local GM/Chevy dealer on a new part that would set me back twenty to thirty dollars, I took charge by whipping up a custom replacement using my high-end 3d printer and just sixty hours spent creating and fine-tuning the design along with roughly two spools of ABS filament. By doing it myself, I ended up saving myself about fifty dollars and had an absolute blast in the process.
