I crafted a custom clip for a Philips ResMed CPAP mask, where certain masks had lost theirs and were subsequently unsuitable for use. Physiotherapists at the hospital received it with great enthusiasm. It was printed in PLA, but I ensured that it would fit seamlessly into all types of filaments, including those used in 3mm shells.
