We have aluminum soffit and fascia. Really like MajorCinamonBun's clip design but it wouldn't hold on to the aluminum. This is a simple remix - an extra "bump" where the clip comes back on itself, and only 5mm wide (or high as it's printing...) I experimented with a couple different sizes and 5mm wide works fine for us (YMMV).
