Clip for boat bimini top with 7/8" poles
thingiverse
A coworker's 4 Winns boat features a bimini top held together by nylon clips when not in use. One clip broke, prompting him to bring an unbroken one for me to replicate - and this is the result. Meanwhile, mtungett72 created almost the same clip on Thingiverse, so take a look if you want a more accurate reproduction of the original design, although neither myself nor my coworker could determine the purpose of the scalloped edge, so I didn't attempt to recreate it. Printing in full size worked well, but for the parts shown in photos, I scaled down to 50% on the z-axis and still achieved good results. I also simplified the clip by removing an unnecessary part that seemed to serve no purpose.
